Contemporary Luxe

We were tasked with creating a refined urban residence for a former art gallery owner and her spouse, transforming a downtown penthouse into a serene, gallery-inspired home. The couple was downsizing from a large estate and needed a space that showcased their extensive personal art collection while maintaining a contemporary, open aesthetic.

Working in close collaboration with the project manager, general contractor, and architectural team, we delivered a high-end new build with little budgetary limitation but significant spatial challenges. Our scope included producing construction documents, specifying lighting, cabinetry layouts, hardware, appliances, countertops, tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, color palettes, and select custom furniture.

To honor the client’s background and vision, we eliminated trim work entirely, allowing walls to serve as blank canvases for art and sculpture. The resulting space balances sophistication with livability, offering an airy, minimal backdrop where art takes center stage.
