Traditional Eclectic

We were presented with a unique design opportunity: to transform a crisp, minimalistic “white box” into a vibrant, eclectic retreat that stands in stark contrast to its neighboring counterpart. Despite downsizing from a larger home, our clients had an ambitious wishlist and a desire for warmth, personality, and functionality within a compact urban footprint.

By engaging in strategic space planning and thoughtful layering of traditional textures, patterns, and finishes, we elevated the spatial experience across each room. Commissioned details, tailored millwork, and curated material selections—ranging from richly hued wood tones and patterned tile to classic hardware and bespoke furniture—created an inviting, personalized environment. Though the home is half the size of their previous residence, our design delivers significantly more: character, warmth, and practicality, all while maintaining an open, airy feel with ample storage throughout.
